Today, I am passionate about helping others because I understand the frustration and discouragement that can come from searching for answers and feeling stuck in your health journey. This podcast is here to help you find clarity, hope, and practical wisdom for healing naturally and intentionally.

If you are tired of chasing health plans that do not last, and you are ready for simple, natural solutions for stress, hormones, and weight that are rooted in both Chinese Medicine and Scripture, you are in the right place.

Have you ever felt stuck trying to lose weight, like no matter what you do, your body just is not responding?
In this episode of Chinese Medicine for Christians, I share a personal story about a time I pushed my body through an extreme approach to weight loss and why it left me feeling worse, not better.
We talk about why weight loss is often about more than calories or willpower. From a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) perspective, your body may be giving clues through fatigue, bloating, cravings, stress, hormonal imbalances, and digestive issues.
I’m sharing 5 common TCM patterns I often see in women who struggle to lose weight:
🌿 Dampness & Phlegm🌿 Liver Qi Stagnation (stress and emotional overwhelm)🌿 Spleen Qi Deficiency (digestive weakness)🌿 Kidney Yang Deficiency (hormonal depletion)🌿 Blood Sugar & Hormonal Imbalances
We also talk about simple, practical ways to start supporting your body in a healthier, more sustainable way.
Your body is not working against you. It may be trying to tell you something.
"Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life." Proverbs 4:23

In this episode of Chinese Medicine for Christians, I share my top three favorite things about Traditional Chinese Medicine and why this ancient approach to healing continues to resonate so deeply today.
You’ll learn how TCM views the body as deeply interconnected: body, mind, and spirit,  and why emotional stress, worry, grief, and unresolved emotions can often contribute to physical symptoms and disease patterns. I also explain how physical imbalances can affect emotional health, creating cycles that many women experience without realizing it.
This episode also dives into one of the most fascinating parts of Chinese medicine: nutrition and food energetics. Discover how TCM looks beyond calories and nutrients to understand food through temperature, taste, and its effect on the body’s overall balance and healing.
Topics covered:
The mind-body-spirit connection in Traditional Chinese Medicine
How emotions influence physical health
Why root-cause healing matters
The relationship between stress and chronic symptoms
Food energetics in TCM
How taste and temperature affect the body
A holistic and faith-centered perspective on healing
